The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of Performance Support
James McLuckie, Learning and Solutions Performance Director, GoodPractice.
Supporting colleagues to perform well in their jobs roles is a mandatory requirement for any learning practitioner. But sometimes it feels like L&D actually get in the way of enabling effective working environments rather than facilitating them. Whether it be through misunderstanding what the business needs; delivering over-engineered or needlessly complex solutions; or falling back on outdated methods, performance support can look decidedly ugly in many organisations.
James McLuckie has been designing performance support tools and resources for over ten years. In this webinar he will discuss:
- What good performance support looks like.
- A methodology for designing effective performance support solutions.
- Some traps to avoid when creating tools and resources.
- Examples of various support resources that have been proven to work
