Does anyone use the instructional design idea of content types? I haven't seen this venerable instructional design model mentioned much anywhere these days.

There's a strong (and valid) argument that we should be designing experiences, not content, but we still have to present content too.

How best to do it?  I've written some articles on how I've seen them develop over the years.  I'd be interested to know if you use them.
