Nov 3: Using Agile Techniques in Learning Production,Chris Tedd & Laura Hooper

The software development world has made great gains over the last few decades moving to iterative and collaborative ‘agile’ methodologies. Content development has lagged behind tending to stick with more traditional, process-orientated planning rooted in a fear of expensive changes late in the process. Can you move content development away from this documentation-heavy mind-set to more a user-centred, iterative approach? Over 2015 Unicorn’s content team went agile and are now sharing the good and the bad of how they got on.

  • Where have lean and agile come from?
  • What are the core concepts and characteristics of the different methodologies
  • Why did we implement it at Unicorn and what flavour of agile did we choose?
  • How has it gone? The good and the bad?
  • Continuous improvement; where are we going next

Hi,

Part of the video recording is missing - it starts from the Kanban slide. Can you post the full video please? I missed the first 15 minutes and would really like to hear the commentary!

Many thanks.

Sue
