Multiplatform Producer - Online and Informal Learning
I started in television (on programmes like Working Lunch, Crimewatch and Watchdog) and then moved over to BBC jam - and was left heartbroken when it was suspended…BBC jam was a wonderful, innovative introduction to the world of e-learning and the possibilities it could offer - it made me realise that this was the area I wanted to be in.
I left the BBC for a short while to be the Web Producer for Creative Choices www.creative-choices.co.uk, a career development website for people working in the creative and cultural industries, working with the Open University and the Cultural Leadership Programme.
Now I'm back at the BBC in a training capacity, producing content for our new Creativity Portal.
I want to make fun and rewarding online educational content and am always searching out new ideas and concepts that might help me do just that.
