No matter which way I turn I cannot get them to agree to training.  How do you present this issue without the usual come back of "once trained, they will move elsewhere".  This is a family run manufacturing company that has been going for 45 years the Chairman started the company when he was 40! and he is still hands on.

 

If you can come up with any ideas I would be grateful - I also hope this makes the basis of a discussion.
