My most common duties are:
*Learning Needs Analysis (often through workshops),
*Designing training programs (structure, method, materials),
*Finding SMEs and HPs and coach them in delivering the program.
My strength is Needs Analysis and Content Analysis. I find that a really good analysis means most of the job is done. It's also useful to take the client a step back and asking what problem he wants to address with learning - making sure that options other than learning (improved interface, performance support, change in attitude, different tools) are considered possible solutions.
