Bettina is Manager, Language Academy, Curriculum & Trainer Development. With over 18 years at Cartus, she has partnered with numerous clients headquartered in the U.S., Asia and Europe to provide solutions for global talent. Bettina created the Cartus Advanced Business Communication refining senior management's ability to “connect” with their audiences by combining business skills training with her understanding of operating in a second language. She created a leadership readiness assessment tool focused on clarity of public speaking and influencing capability which Cartus clients use as part of their global leadership program pooling. Most recently she leads innovation initiatives for the language business line, including the creation and implementation of the Cartus Language Standard, our proprietary program delivery process and best practices employed by over 1200 Cartus trainers, with a foundation in the Council of Europe’s system [CEFR]. Bettina has a B.A. in German from Loyola University of Chicago and International M.B.A. course completion at the Texas Christian University’s Neeley School of Business. Bettina has lived and worked in Italy, Germany, Holland, and Greece. In her free time, Bettina enjoys talking with people in live face to face conversations and researching how to build her dream summer home near the family village on the coast of Western Greece.
