It would be great to meet up at the conference. I work with Enterprise Ireland's eLearning team - and am particularly interested in understanding some of the challenges faced by public sector organisations in providing effective learning solutions.
I'm supporting the talk by Jonny Parkes from the Irish Learning Alliance (ILA) [The ILA ELITE Platform - integrating social networking in an e-learning world. Exhbition Seminar - Wednesday 28th January 2009, 13:15 - 13:45 - Seminar Theatre 4]. It is a really exciting industry led project that has had several million € of support from the Irish Government. One of the outputs from the project has been the development of open source tools that enable people to collaborate in ways that also help organisations to guage the value of informal learning. Perhaps catch up with you there if you can make that session?
