I have worked in Learning and Development for in excess of 15 years. During the past 2-3 years my role has gradually shifted and I am responsible for championing e learning within my company.
This has involved piloting and introducing an LMS, sourcing materials and developing materials for our people. Yes, we've got a long way to go!
For us 2008 was very much about making e Learning available to our 1500 people. 2009 will be about making sure that we start to get the best use out of it. It is also about developing our approach for the future. This will mean a much more collaborative approach than we currently have, so we are at the start of a long but exciting journey.
I am also heading a group responsible for leveraging the best possible results across the Fortis UK group of 7 companies.
I am the proud owner of the TAP Diploma in e learning but still regard myself as a novice moving up to intermediate level if I may borrow a couple of terms from my time learning to ski.
