Got a taster for delivering training about 10 years ago when the organisation I worked for rolled out SAP and I was 'volunteered' to help deliver the systems training to staff. I loved it!
I joined Hampshire County Council in 2003 as a SAP trainer and then took the role of Training Team Manager during the 2-3 year period that SAP was rolled out to HCC.
I then moved to the IT department, where I was responsible for Learn.IT, a website whose mission is to improve IT skills. We've had over 3m hits and have more than 14,000 users. The site is linked to an LMS and has content in the form of guide pages and interactive modules. It offers structured learning in the form of modules and also bite sized/just in time information using our search.
Now I'm based in the Learning Technologies Team, where we looking to improve our organisation's online learning offer with Moodle and screen demos and e-learning modules created with Articulate Storyline.
