AAT is an Awarding Body, providing qualifications and professional membership for accountants. We have over 100,000 members, either students or qualified accountants, studying and/or working throughout the world. We have partnerships in India, South Africa, Botswana and New Zealand.
AAT is regulated in the UK by Ofqual and SQA, and in South Africa by SAQA.
The teaching of AAT qualifications is done by over 500 training providers, both in Further Education and commercial training companies, as well as by distance learning.
We examine competency by online assessment, using the BTL Surpass suite and a bespoke development of Moodle.
I have direct responsibility for the development, delivery, operations and managementof all CBAs (computer based assessments), of which we deliver more than 250,000 each year.
