I started off managing financial information feeds for the Financial Times back in the days of the 5.25in floppy drive. From there I moved into technology publishing, writing and producing multi-lingual publications for Microsoft, Apple and Sun Microsystems. I helped set up one of the first UK web production agencies in 1995, and produced websites for War Child, Gateway 2000 and Microsoft, before moving into magazine journalism as a writer and web editor for PC Advisor magazine. I also managed content for eBay UK, worked as a chief sub-editor for Computer Weekly.com, managed the University of Greenwich website, and worked on online publications for the UK Office for National Statistics.
