Hi everyone.  This week has not been the best of weeks in my household as my daughter dropped two grades in one subject (French). Though she did well in the others (English and History), she missed out on her choice of Uni's (Leeds and Birmingham).

She joined the clearing scramble but with nothing available for her chosen degree (joint English/French) she's decided on a gap year, and will re-take French and try again next year. Not such an easy decision as it means an extra 9,000 of debt!

However, she would like to use the time improving her French and I wondered if LSG colleagues can suggest some options for working and learning in France.  Regards and thanks.  Annie

Hi Annie - It might be worth looking at this site which offers possible internships in France, Spain etc:

Very Best Wishes, Sally

Many thanks for that Sally - a surprise as I didn't realise LinkedIn is useful for students as well.  Regards.  Annie
