My colleague has just written a post on the rising trend of Bring Your Own Device to Work: http://www.brightwave.co.uk/blog/bring-your-own-device-to-work , which highlights the potential pitfalls in relation to organisational IT security.
And, I wondered if anyone in this space had any particular reluctances or arguments for employees bringing their own iPads, iPhones and other Android devices to work?
One of the questions I think needs answering is, if employees are using their own iPads, iPhones and other Android devices at work, who is responsible for repairing, maintaining or replacing them if the need arises...just a thought!
Dont forget insurance, who is responsible for damage during working hours
