This is a plea for you to fill in another survey. Yes, I know you're busy, but please, this one is very important.

First, some background information.

If you attended the lunchtime session at the Learning Technologies Summer Forum last week, or if you read Training Journal, you'll know that Women’s career progression lags behind men in L&D.

My research into gender among members of the Learning and Skills Group shows that L&D support roles are more twice as likely to be filled by women as men, while leading roles of responsibility are about twice as likely to be filled by men as women. Here's what those numbers look like:

Now the survey bit. Training Journal is running some research into diversity in L&D. It includes gender and more. It's not a long survey, and it's to everyone benefit if you can take 5-10 minutes to complete it:

Thank you,

Don

More than happy to fill this in Don.  Really enjoyed the lunchtime seminar too.

Don - would you know if this is aiming for responses only from particular types of organization?  I see there is a cap of up to 10,000 in the organization size question and wondered if that was deliberate.  Thanks

Hi Don,

I just tried to complete the survey, but says it is inactive.
