For a hospital in Norway:
There are numerous training sessions led by internal resources. Small groups and about one hour duration at the most. Busy health professionals. Many will not be able to attend an misses the content. A .pptx in the inbox is not the same.
Opportunity: keep a videocamera close to the conference rooms and urge speakers to organise a filming of the presentation and record the voice of the presenter and capture the presentation mainly and presenter in front if possible.
How to solve this and succesfully operate the solution?
a Sony video camera
a camera stand
a wireless microphone
battery with powercord
SD memory cards for easy transfer via PC to shared disk and further editing and/or distribution to LMS
a bag for the equiment
* Screen capture and voice capture
* use Periscope on Smartphone and reserve a Hashtag for the filming and a web page to list all tweets and videos containing this.
Any advice please?
Hi Kristian, have a look at Panopto - software that allows you to record such sessions using no more than a laptop (capture the talking head, their slides, their screen and other cameras) and make the recordings available in your own online library. Users can access presentations on demand via mobile apps or stream directly in the browser.
Panopto platform is used by many universities globally and medical institutions already.
