I have worked in the NHS since 1990 and have been a part of the ICT Training Team since 2000. I previously delivered the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) course which was the fore runner to NHS Elite and NHS Health e-Learning programme.
Working with a dynamic team has helped me develop myself and it is great to know I have the support from my colleagues. We have worked very hard over a short period of time to achieve so much, which we proved our worth by winning two Gold Awards with the Institute of IT Training.
I enjoy delivering the Microsoft Office courses and I have learnt to make the sessions fun so people can enjoy the learning experience!
I have developed a 2 day classroom course based on the NHS Elite programme. Some of the students who have attended these sessions started with little confidence and it gives me a great buzz to see them complete the course.
I am looking forward to some of the new challenges that we face in the new financial year. Look out here we come!
