Thanks for the welcome Joanna. We have just had a moodle set up for our department & looking to launch in the coming months - I will be the site administrator so looking forward to learning all the technical aspect of using Moodle.
Hi Joanna
Yes - good to make contact. I am managing a project to implement Moodle at RNLI, working with Kineo and Charity Learning Consortium. Happy to discuss ideas anytime. Am away from 16th Aug for 2 weeks.
John
I've just come back from a seminar by LMMatters. Steve Rayson from Kineo discussed how they have used Moodle in appox 80 organisations and gave some great examples.....good luck with the project!
We had a good round-table discussion about how we're using Moodle in our various organisations, and talked a lot about different additional modules that could be used.
Mark Aberdour from Kineo OpenSource was there and gave some valuable input about the stuff they're doing.
You're in good hands with them.
No plans at the moment for another meeting, but it's always possible.

I hope you're finding the site useful.
I've piloted a couple of ning sites now and it's amazing how easy they are to set up!
