How do you make it possible for different parts of an organisation to access some, but not all, of a Learning Management System (LMS)? The answer: a multi-tenancy LMS. But everyone has different needs for sharing, and different parts of a system and content that need to be kept separated. In this session Pete Potter draws on real life examples using Totara LMS (based on the open-source platform Moodle) to achieve multi-tenancy, exploring how to allow different organisations and departments within a large enterprise to have their own identity in the LMS.

Pete Potter, has worked with Moodle and Mahara in an educational context since 2008 in both the UK and New Zealand. Relocating back to the UK in 2011, he joined Synergy Learning and has helped organisations develop Totara LMS as their eLearning platform.
