2021: new priorities, new focus new L&D
Donald H Taylor, chair, Learning Technologies Conference
For years we have talked about change in L&D, but last year the talking stopped. It was time for action. The pandemic forced everyone to re-assess their approach to learning, fast. One year on, and still in the middle of change, we have to ask – are we moving in the right direction? How much of this change has been carefully thought out and how much just a reaction to a sudden need to move online?
This webinar is the official launch of Donald’s L&D Global Sentiment Survey 2021, which took the opinions of over 3,000 L&D practitioners, world-wide. The evidence is that L&D practitioners have a new focus, but also face new challenges. In responding to these challenges, they are rejecting the novel and focusing on the familiar, using the tools which they know will get the job done. Donald’s conclusion: this is a great time for L&D, a chance to build a new, strategic way of working on solid foundations.
