Time to quit stalling… and start Sharing:How to create networked knowledge and performance platforms
Alastair Maclean & Toby Harris, Head of Design and Development, and Platform Product Manager, Saffron Interactive
In the space of just a few years, digital technologies and personalised online services have transformed the way in which we generate, consume and apply knowledge. The new learner is a sceptical but capable digital citizen. She demands digital engagement from her organisation which is aligned with her own expectations as a consumer. But many existing LMS and elearning tools are hopelessly behind the times. The new learning web is built on open source code and open standards instead of the closed, proprietary technologies that dominate the market for corporate learning software. This is why Saffron has transformed Moodle into Saffron Share: a new user experience that drives the discovery of applicable content, the generation of new insights and uses the power of the crowd to improve workplace performance. This webinar will draw on relevant client case studies to show
- How social knowledge management is about more than just Q&A forums
- Why connecting expert employees with others encourages contribution
- How playlists and predictive search create personalised content discovery experiences
- Why we need start thinking about ‘promoted content’ instead of ‘push
- How to mirror consumer platforms to make learners want to do what you need them to
