Event Description

Using story telling in learning

Dr. Maureen Murphy, Aurion Learning, Pat Kenny, National eLearning Manager, Health Service Executive.

We all love a story; it’s part of what we are as human beings. In fact it’s been said that the original learning technologies were the story and the conversation. But how can we use this natural way of learning for organisational learning? Join Maureen Murphy and Pat Kenny in this NetDimensions-sponsored LSG webinar as they explore the practical side of developing and using stories for learning.

  • Exploring digital, narrative and drama for telling stories
  • Developing stories with a focus on learning outcomes
  • Helping people share their own stories as part of the process
  • The vital role of emotion
  • Corporate and personal stories – the difference and the overlap

We are moving to introducing storyboards at my workplace and I'm sure this will be a useful session. Unfortunately I cannot attend but look forward to catching up with the video recording.
